Mr. Lines grew up in the low-income, housing business run by his family. He spent much of his youth working on these properties, painting them, cleaning them out between tenants and discussing the business of real estate with his parents. In his first legal case, Mr. Lines took his landlord to court for a security deposit that had not been returned. Defeating his landlord in court was so thrilling that Mr. Lines decided to go to law school. Ever since, he has had a special place in his heart for real property disputes. Mr. Lines has handled a wide variety of real-estate related lawsuits, including quiet titles, andlord/tenant, brokerage commission disputes, purchase and sale disputes, evictions, foreclosures and replevins.
